Canada Embassy in Belgium
The Embassy of Canada in Brussels offers consular and commercial services to Canadians. The Canadian Ambassador is also Canada's Permanent Observer to the Council of Europe. Every year, thousand of Belgians and Luxembourg go to Canada for various reasons, mostly for tourism or business travel, studies, work and immigration.
Belgian and Luxembourg citizens do not need tourist visa for entering Canada but passport’s validity date has to exceed by at least one day the projected date of departure from Canada. With a valid passport, Belgian and Luxembourg citizens may remain in Canada as a tourist for a maximum of six months.
If the stay is to be extended to more than six months then the applicant will have to undergo Immigration Medical examination as per the instruction of Canada Embassy in Belgium. The fact is the Canadian Embassy in Belgium doesn’t have visa and Immigration section.
