Canada Embassy in Belgium
The Embassy of Canada in Brussels offers consular and commercial services to Canadians. The Canadian Ambassador is also Canada's Permanent Observer to the Council of Europe. Every year, thousand of Belgians and Luxembourg go to Canada for various reasons, mostly for tourism or business travel, studies, work and immigration.
Belgian and Luxembourg citizens do not need tourist visa for entering Canada but passport’s validity date has to exceed by at least one day the projected date of departure from Canada. With a valid passport, Belgian and Luxembourg citizens may remain in Canada as a tourist for a maximum of six months.
If the stay is to be extended to more than six months then the applicant will have to undergo Immigration Medical examination as per the instruction of Canada Embassy in Belgium. If you are of nationality other than of Belgium and Luxemburg then you will have to check whether your country is in the list of countries requiring Visa to enter Canada or not.
The Embassy of Canada in Belgium does not deal with issuing Visas, for which Canadian Embassy in France have to be approached. For working in Canada and immigration to Canada also the Embassy in France have to be approached and for settling in the Quebec province the the province of Quebec have accept you as citizen. The fact is the Canadian Embassy in Belgium doesn’t have visa and Immigration section.
