Canada Embassy in Denmark

Canadian Embassy in Denmark is located in Copenhagen. Danish Citizen do not require visitor’s visa for entering Canada. But they must have valid passport and a return ticket. The Citizens with a Danish alien passport (fremmedpas) or travel document must obtain a visa through Canada's High Commission in London.

Under the Canada – Denmark Working Holiday Program 400 Danes are allowed to work for one year in Canada. For this you can apply to Canada Embassy in Denmark if you satisfy the following conditions

You are Danish  citizen and living in Denmark
Aged between 18 and 35 years
You have approximately CAD $ 2500
No Criminal Record
No dependent children accompanying you
You pay the participation fees for WHP
You have not participated in this program before

If you are eligible you can apply by

Submitting application form and questionnaire
2 passport size photographs
Copy of Identification page of Passport
CV listing past 18 months activities
Police certificate of every country you have lived in for 6 months or more
Bank statement showing that you have at least DKK 14000
Self addressed envelope

The fees must be paid to Embassy of Canada in Stockholm. If all is correct your application will be processed and permit issued in around 10 Days. If permission is refused or you withdraw application fees will be refunded.

Yukon is named after Yukon River in Canada and is the western most and smallest province of Canada. It has Mount Logan, in Kluane National Park and Reserve, which the highest mountain in Canada and the second highest of North America. “Larger than life" is Yukon's tourism motto.Pristine nature is Yukon’s main attraction.

Hunting and Angling, Paddling by Canoes or Kayaks, riding or walking trail, Ski and Snowboarding, ice climbing or dog sledding are also enjoyed here. In addition there are numerous cultural and sporting events to observe and participate such as Yukon International Storytelling Festival, Frostbite Music Festival, Dawson Music Festival, Yukon, Sourdough Rendezvous, the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre, and Northern Lights Centre etc. Wildlife and nature observation is also there with a wide variety of large mammals, birds, and fish easily accessible.
