Canada Embassy in Dominican Republic
Canadian embassy in Dominican Republic is situated in Santo Domingo. Residents of the Dominican Republic who wish to apply for a visa to visit Canada, a permit to study in Canada or a permit to work temporary in Canada, or who wish to obtain a travel document (permanent resident) to return to Canada, must apply for these services at the Canadian Embassy in Santo Domingo. Applicants are advised by the authorities to not to travel to Port-au-Prince for these services.
Applications are received in Santo Domingo on Mondays and Thursdays from 09:00 until 11:00. Applications are processed in Santo Domingo, but since final decisions are made by Canadian immigration officers located in regional immigration processing centre in Port-au-Prince, any inquiry about the status of an application or reason for rejection should be addressed to that office. It is recommended that applicants should apply at least one month before their scheduled trip to Canada.

The club also has a newer program for snowboarding racers. Grouse Mountain is also the location of a very popular hiking trail known as the Grouse Grind. It is an extremely steep and mountainous trail that climbs 853 m (2,799 ft) over a distance of 2.9 km (2 mi).
