When visiting Quebec one has the sense of French Culture all around. Around 80% of population speaks French and for over 5 centuries the French have controlled and influenced Quebec. There is a movement to separate Quebec from Canada as independent sovereign state, but presently it has been slowed down by concentrating more on Economic Development of the region.
It is on the eastern side of Canada with coasts in North Atlantic, Hudson and James Bays and the Lawrence sea ways. It can be divided in three zones for tourist attractions. On the north is sprawling rarely touched jungles in the middle are mountains and ski resorts and on south metropolitan cities of Quebec and Montreal with sprawling farmlands also. French Phrase book will be very handy in Quebec.
