China Embassy in Cyprus
The Consular Office, also the Political Office and the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the China Embassy in Cyprus is headquartered at Nicosia. Cyprus citizens are granted Tourist/Family Visit Visa if they so expresses intentions to visit China for tour and sightseeing or visiting a relatives or friends. The embassy may require Cyprus applicants to present order of round-trip airline ticket or a reservation from a hotel in China. The Chinese Embassy in Cyprus also issues Business Visa. Cyprus nationals can obtain a Business Visa provided the following requirements are satisfied: one (1) filled-up China Visa Application Form attached with one (1) recent passport-size photograph, a valid passport with at least six (6) months validity and one (1) blank visa page.
An original version of Visa notice or facsimile sheet from a Chinese government-authorized company, an Invitation Letter with a company letterhead from a company in China. A copy of the return air ticket or hotel booking may also be asked for verification purposes. Cyprus businessmen can also obtain a double entry business visa provided their stay in China does not exceed 30 days. The types of China Visa, for tourist and business purposes, available are Single-Entry Visa with three-month validity, Double-Entry Visa with six-month validity, Multiple-Entry Visa with six-month validity, and Multiple-Entry Visa with 12-month validity. For Group Visa, basic documents should include an Invitation Letter furnished by an accredited Chinese Travel Agency or an authorized inviting institution based in China.
