The Visa Section of the Chinese Embassy in Ireland, at Ballsbridge, Dublin handles concerns related to Visa,passport and authentication. The designated office hours for China Visa applications are between 9:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon, Mondays to Thursdays, except during Irish and Chinese public holidays. Application for any category of China Visa requires these basic documents: One (1) copy of legibly, truly, completely filled-up China Visa Application Form; one (1) most recent colored passport photograph attached to the Visa Application Form; and, the applicants original passport with blank visa pages and at least six (6) months remaining validity and a copy of the same. Non-Irish Passport Holders who reside or work in Ireland and seeking entry to China need to provide Residence Permit and Work Permit duly issued by the Ireland Government. Travelling adults planning to accompany a child to China trip is required to submit a photo of the child. A Chinese Tourist/Family Visit Visa (L Visa) would also require a copy of the round trip airline ticket and a confirmation of reservation from a hotel in China or a travel itinerary provided by an accredited travel agency usually for group tour handlers. The regular processing time of a China visa is five (5) working days. The China Embassy in Ireland collects regular Visa fees according to type of Visa here rates quoted, per person, in Euro (EUR): Single-Entry Visa EUR 30, Double-Entry Visa EUR 45, Multi-Entry Visa with 6-month Validity EUR 60, Multi-Entry Visa with 12-month Validity EUR 90, and Group Visa EUR 24. An expedited service fee is collected, on top of the regular Visa fee, for those who wish to have their China Visa processed in one (1) working day (just in case of force majeure)or 2-3 working days EUR 33 and EUR 23, respectively.
