China Embassy in Thailand
Thailand citizens are reminded that China Visa is not required if they join group tour to Hainan province provided they hold a valid ordinary passports and intends to stay in Hainan not exceeding 15 days Else, they are required apply for Tourist/Family Visit Visa (L Visa) and submit the required documents to the China Embassy in Thailand. Along with the properly filled-up Visa Application Form attached with one recent passport photo, the applicant must present his or her original Passport with blank visa pages and at least six-month validity. Additionally, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand may require may ask from the applicant a copy of his or her Round-trip Airline Ticket, Traveler's Check or the Bank Deposit Certificate, for verification. The regular China Visa fees for Thailand citizens as per Visa type are as follows: Single-Entry Visa THP 1,000; Double-Entry Visa THP 2,000; Multi-Entry Visa with 6-month Validity THP 3,000; and, Multi-Entry Visa with 12-month Validity THP 4,500. The regular processing time of China Visa is four (4) working days. However, the applicant has an option to expedite the Visa processing time by paying additional fees of THP 1,200 for 1 working day processing and THP 800 for 2 to 3 days processing.
