I . Types of Visa: Following are the visas which can be applied for visit to India –
· Short-term Single/Double entry Journey Visa : This type of visa is to be used within one month of its issue for tourism, medical treatment, to meet relatives in India , etc. Tourist visas are non-extendable and non-convertible and normally not granted within a period of one month from the last visit. Frequent visitors are advised to apply for double entry visas for a period of upto ninety days with proper documented justification.
