Embassy Visa Information:

Arrangements can be listed online only after carrying out the online application form. Applicants will now pay the $131 USD (62,880 CFA) application fee the day of their interview at the Embassy. Useful directly, this is the only method to schedule visa appointments with the Embassy.

Applicants for Non-Immigrant Visas must qualify under the requirements of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990.  Applicants should conquer this presumption at the time of their interview by signifying social, familial and economic ties to their country of source or country of habitation which are adequately sound and well-documented that the Consular Officer can sensibly conclude they will depart the United States at the end of their visit. 

Requirements:

The Migrant Visa unit is open Monday through Thursday, 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM for Immigrant Visas processing. Applicants will accept written results from the Kentucky Consular Center National Visa Center or Consular Section, that a appeal has been received naming them as recipient. Applicants are requested to make every effort to be present at the appointment as scheduled.

It is each applicant's responsibility to come to the Consular Section for his/her meeting as scheduled.When a candidate has listed with all documentary requirements and, if required, satisfactorily demonstrated his/her qualifications, the Consular Section will procedure the case to completion as expeditiously as possible under the provisions of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990, current State Department policy and good administrative practice.  The process of assembling the sustaining documentary parcel and performing the necessary liability review normally consumes two to three weeks.  On the day the issuance decision is made by the interviewing officer, successful applicants will be given a date when their visas will be ready for impulsive.

Visa Fee:

Primary mature passport or substitute for lost/stolen/mutilated passport:
$ 100 or 48,000 cfa (which includes a separate security improvement fee of $12)
• Adult passport routine renewal fee:
$ 75 or 36,000 cfa (which includes a separate security improvement fee of $12).
Fees for Children's Passports (under 16 years old)
$ 85 or 40,800 cfa (which includes a separate security enhancement fee of $12)

Information and documentation on visa:

The application is available in French and when you have done the application online, print out all three pages of the form with the barcode on the last page all applicants have to employ the online form.   Handwritten copies of the DS-156 form will not be occurring website lists documents which are required for the application process.  Though, in many cases other supporting documents may be required.  Applicants should make sure to bring in any and all supporting documents which may be pertinent to their application (e.g. old passports, employment letters, bank statements, report of salary, employment contract, etc.).

Eligibility:

Resting on November 17, 2008, the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) was lengthened to include the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Republic of Korea and the Slovak Republic. At December 30, 2008 Malta joined the VWP. Adequate nationals of these countries are able to travel without a visa for tourist and business travel of 90 days or less provided they possess an e-passport and an approved approval through the Electronic System for Travel Approval (ESTA).Section of Homeland Security began accepting Electronic System for Travel Approval (ESTA) applications on August 1, 2008 ESTA is a free, automated system used to determine the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States under the VWP.  It collects the same in series as the paper I-94W form that VWP travelers formerly fill out on the way to the United States.
