Embassy visa information
The U.S. Embassy in Kabul is located at Great Masood Road, The U.S. Embassy cannot provide passport or visa services, and
its ability to provide emergency consular services to U.S. citizens in Afghanistan is limited.
Conditions
Latterly of your interview, the Consular Officer will inform you whether your application has been approved or not. Interviews are by appointment only. Documents dont need to be translated into English or notarized. You can bring originals of all documents. After the interview, the Consular officer will return them to you.
Information on visa
Hours of Operations are on working days from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Visa Fees
Appointment fee: the fee is 131 U.S. dollars. You must bring $131 in cash to your interview and the fee is non-refundable.
Documentations
Provide absolute credentials comprising photos of the person, passport, Special Clearance and Issuance Procedures, Marriage Certificates, Police Records. You must print out all the forms and bring the forms to the interview. You should have four forms.
Eligibility
The U.S. Embassy in Kabul is not authorized to accept immigrant visa petitions. Application instructions are based on the visa you require.
