HOW TO APPLY FOR AN ARUBA VISA
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS NEEDED TO ENTER ARUBA / VISA INFORMATION
Required travel documents for visitors entering Aruba from the US.
Non-US citizens, entering Aruba from the US, must have the following documents in their possession:
US residents (non-US citizens) for whom NO visa-requirements are applicable for Aruba must have a valid: o National passport o Alien Registration Card (ARC) / Green Card US residents (non-US citizens) for whom visa-requirements are applicable for Aruba must travel either with a valid: o National passport (provided with a visa for Aruba, OR o US government issued refugee passport (provided with a visa for Aruba). Colombian nationals do not require a visa if holder of a valid and used visa for the United States, Canada or the Scheme area
PAPERS NEEDED TO ENTER ARUBA: o A valid passport (with a visa for Aruba) or other recognized travel document, AND o A return airline ticket or an onward ticket to travel elsewhere outside Aruba, AND o The necessary documents for returning to the country of origin or for further travel elsewhere
VALIDITY OF THE VISA The short-stay tourist/business visa for Aruba can be issued to a maximum of 30 days per visit. (Maximum 90 days per 12 months. The period of 12 months goes in effect the moment the applicant enters Aruba).
WHEN TO APPLY Keep in mind that it may take 4 weeks to get approval before the visa can be issued, make sure you apply well in advance.
WHAT TO SUBMIT 1. Passport with a validity that exceeds the intended stay of the applicant by at least 3 months. 2. US visa 3. 1 recent passport photograph 4. Proof of sufficient funds 5. Employment letter 6. Proof establishing the purpose of your trip 7. Cash (exact change please) or money order to pay the fee 8. Medical health/travel insurance.
