US EMBASSY IN BOTSWANA: GABORONE
Welcome to the Embassy of Botswana, well here I want to mention that all the people of VWP countries who arrange to travel to the United States for provisional business or pleasure under the VWP should attach with the Embassy. Embassy visa Information:
From February 1, 2008, passport applicants who are U.S. citizen minors in the age of 16 have to appear personally with their parents to set up individuality, evidence of citizenship and evidence of association. As a result, convey to the Department of State’s website at www.travel.state.gov for whole visa information on all new necessities, including downloadable revised forms that must be used as of February 1, and the U.S. Embassy website at http://botswana.usembassy.gov/, for inclusive U.S. passport application instructions.
Requirements:
The following requirements are must. The photograph of all visa applicants must be an uncounted full face photo 2 by 2 inches and should be stapled or glued to Form DS-156. Applicants should be people of Botswana or eternal residents qualified to hold a applicable passport grant by Botswana.
Information on visa:
Visa applications are obtainable online and must be completed and printed before arriving at the embassy for your interview. Simply visit http://evisaforms.state.gov. As of 01 Nov 2006, handwritten applications will no longer be acknowledged.
Visa Fee:
Along with February 1, 2008, the U.S. Government will enhance its fees for definite U.S. citizen passport services and adult applicants renewing a passport, the whole fee will increase to $75. For first-time applicants age 16 and over, the total fee will add to $100. The fee for minors under 16 years of age will be $85.
Eligibility:
The following eligibilities must be considered. Botswana residency; as a minimum an scholar university degree; at least five years of substantial qualified experience in Botswana; established leadership nature and a record of public service; small or no preceding knowledge studying or working in the U.S.; and written consent from the employer to add in the program and its agreement.
