US EMBASSY IN NIGERIA:
Welcome to the Embassy of Nigeria and before planning to travel you must contact with the Embassy so, Nigerians who are seeking to enter the United States for a visit must get a nonimmigrant visa. So, for more information go here.
Embassy Visa Information:
Nonimmigrant visa applicants have to list an appointment for a personal meeting at Embassy. Prior to you will be permissible to decide a date; you will must fill out the electronic visa form .You then may pick from available dates. If all obtainable appointment period are taken, you will have to try at one more time to safe an appointment. The U.S. Embassy in Abuja start fresh appointment centers every business Monday at 1:00 p.m.
Requirements:
Before, apply for a nonimmigrant visa; you must pay the non-refundable $131 visa application fee when making an appointment. Approximately all visa applications are handled at the time of applicants' appearance at the Embassy or the Consulate General, but a number of cases need additional processing that may holdup achievement.
Visa Fee:
In Nigeria the application fee for a U.S. nonimmigrant visa will increase from $100 to $131. Individuals who paid the earlier $100 application fee before January 1, 2008, they come out for a visa interview before January 31, 2008.
Information and Documentation on Visa:
Issued visas are generally printed and returned within two business days of the applicants' appearance for their interview. Mostly, visas will be applicable for two years, so individuals are able to enter and leave the United States as many times as they want in that two-year period. Applicants should present following documents. 1. An international applicable passport 2. Two attached photographs. 3. For males between the ages of 16 and 45 Form DS-157. 4. (For students) Form DS-158 5. (For exchange visitors) DS-2019 6. Also visa application fee receipt.
Eligibility:
Consistent with U.S. visa laws and system, all nonimmigrant visa applicants have to reveal to the consular officer that they have strong ties to their country of house and must show that they intend to depart the United States after their temporary visit. At the same time there is no exact list of documents to be provided or things that Eligibility:have to be done with the intention of show strong ties beyond of the United States, applicants may desire to carry a range of resources that can help in signifying these ties.
