US Embassy in Uzbekistan
The Tashkent Consular Section provides visa services to Uzbeks and third-country nationals, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visas.
Embassy visa information –
Nonimmigrant visa applicants are accepted on an appointment basis. Appointments are scheduled via internet.
Conditions –
All applicants for nonimmigrant visas must submit the electronic application form DS-156.typed applications are not accepted. Applicants complete the finger scanning process.

Non-Immigrant Visas Unit: (998-71) 140-2215 or 140-2216, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 to 16:30.Immigrant Visa Unit: (998-71) 140-2217 Monday and Wednesday from 13:00 to 16:00Telephone inquiries are received every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am till 4:30 pm
Visa Fees –
Appointment fee: the fee is 131 U.S. dollars. You must bring $131 in cash to your interview and the fee is non-refundable.
Documentations –
Provide absolute credentials comprising photos of the person, passport, Special Clearance and Issuance Procedures, Marriage Certificates; Police Records. It is the applicant’s responsibility to provide all necessary information and documentation for the Consular officer to make an appropriate decision. Eligibility –
A citizen of Uzbekistan, wishing to enter the U.S., must first obtain a visa, either a nonimmigrant visa for a temporary stay, or an immigrant visa for permanent residence. The type of visa you must have is defined by immigration law, and relates to the purpose of your travel. All applicants, including children, must appear in person for the non-immigrant visa interview.
