Embassy Visa Information:
U.S. general public traveling to Zimbabwe for tourism, business, or transit can get a visa in advance by contacting the Embassy of Zimbabwe .All applicants should keep in mind that the Government of Zimbabwe has affirmed that American visitors with proper certification will be permitted entry without complexity. On the other hand, the Government of Zimbabwe has also indicated a goal to decline entry to Americans who are supposed to have a prejudice in opposition to the Zimbabwean government.
Requirements:
U.S. citizens who aim to work in Zimbabwe as journalists must apply for authorization with the Zimbabwean Embassy at least one month in advance of planned travel.
Americans intending to reside or work in Zimbabwe must obtain earlier approval by the Zimbabwean Chief Immigration Officer and should complete the process of visa application. Such applications typically take a minimum of six weeks and should be made through the Embassy of Zimbabwe in Washington, Otherwise.
